January 2012: Promised To Myself - Work Harder

This month I promised to myself to work harder than last year. I want to settle old commission works and after that I want to open commission but limit to certain products only. This is something come out from my resolution, I want to keep move forward and focus. But I want you to understand that I did two job now, one as Graphic Designer which I do designs on T-shirts and Button Badges for the company I worked. Two as Independent Artist which I do freelance and personal job like doodle commissions. Both were different and I divided it. :)

Yesterday I refused to help my mother at her shop. She understand. Because I intended to spend my Sunday with doodling! 

Someone commented that I works too much with tablet and graphic, and lose my stroke in drawing recently. Yes, drawing by hand is different than using tablet. About 4 years ago, a friend told me the same thing. Of course, there will no technology can't be compared with God creatures. God created our fingers perfectly. Like photography, there will no good camera can't be compared with our eyes. I work in graphic using tablet and AI to blush my skills and techniques. I was happy during learning process. The best artwork was produced with both mediums-traditional and digital.

So the last commission work I currently do is from Bella. She commissioned two treasure boxes, two cellphone cases and a lil box. So far I have complete all of it during my weekend except a cellphone case.I feel energized when I back on my doodle project. Keep moving forward!
